Who I am
I am an architect by day and an artist by night. My creative practice moves between these two worlds, with each informing the other.
Architecture has trained me to think carefully about form, structure, proportion, and restraint. Painting gives me a more intuitive space to explore those same ideas - slower, looser, and driven by feeling as much as logic. Through oil painting, I explore form, rhythm, and movement, allowing repetition and layered mark-making to build quiet energy across the surface.
While much of my work is informed by landscape, it is not about depicting specific places. Instead, the paintings sit somewhere between observation and abstraction - shaped by memory, movement, and a sense of flow. Iām drawn to works that feel calm but alive, where structure and intuition meet.
Each painting is made slowly and deliberately, embracing process and subtle variation. The aim is not to tell a story, but to create space - for pause, reflection, and connection.
