Impulse
Impulse is a fluid meditation on anatomy and motion. Three bodies dissolve into one another, their forms unraveling into vein-like lines that pulse, merge, and drift across the surface. Rather than describing the body as structure, the painting explores it as energy—circulatory, instinctive, and in constant flux.
Painted as an intuitive response to the human interior, Impulse traces the moments where form gives way to feeling. The bodies are sensed rather than seen, carried by rhythm and flow, suggesting breath, blood, and the quiet urgencies that move us beneath the skin.
